For the rural growers who do qualify, the high desert gives a May-to-October season with brutal daytime heat, cold nights, and almost no mold pressure. Container gardens with afternoon shade beat in-ground planting in most of the state. Everyone else in Nevada is an indoor grower by definition, and the 8 to 9 week cuts on the board are sized for exactly that.
